Darneisha has an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Education with a minor in Business Administration/Management. I am a proud mother of three beautiful children and a native of Fort Worth, Texas. I am on the journey to becoming a Special Education teacher, dedicated to not only improving my teaching skills but also enhancing the lives of others.
My passion for working with students with disabilities has deep roots in my experiences throughout my career. I have witnessed firsthand how both faculty and teachers can profoundly impact the lives of these students, fostering environments that promote meaningful integration between students with and without disabilities. This experience ignited my desire to combine my passion for teaching with my commitment to supporting students with disabilities, showing me the difference I can make in the world.
I believe in addressing both the vulnerabilities and strengths of everyone, fostering reciprocal relationships where I learn just as much from my students as they do from me.
I am also driven by a personal mission to support those who have faced challenges like those in my own life. Now, I want to contribute to initiatives like JCK that empower individuals to overcome their pasts and redefine their futures.
I am passionate about helping others realize that their past does not define them. Everyone can rewrite their story and embrace their purpose. With loved ones currently incarcerated, I feel a strong calling to speak hope and strength into their lives, reminding them that despite the challenges posed by the system, they are destined for greatness. Trust in the journey, trust in God's plan, and strive to be the best version of yourself for you.
